Recipe by Jerri Banks, New York Ingredients 3 oz. Potocki Wódka 1/2 oz. Caraway Infusion Preparation In mixing glass combine Potocki Wódka with Caraway Infusion. Stir well and strain into chilled martini/cocktail glass. Garnish with sprig of “spanked” dill. Caraway Infusion: Steep ¼ cup caraway seed in one 375ml bottle of Potocki Wódka. Let steep for 3-5 days then strain off of seeds. Keep chilled. History First served at Grand Havana Room in New York 2004. Named after Jozef Potocki, Jan-Roman’s great grand father. Food Pairing The aromatic pungency of the caraway will work well with the aromatics of the dill. Serve with an array of appetizers such as golabki, pierogi or smoked meats. |
